Welcome to the BP15 volunteer registration page. A huge part of Bear Pride success is the spirit and commitment of our volunteers. The BP15 committee thanks you for your participation and contribution for making Bear Pride – Chicago a premier bear run.

Discount Structure

Volunteer Discount

Volunteers will be required to pay the registration fee per their date of registration
Fees will be paid in advance of the event
The refund structure for volunteers will be based on the total number of shifts that are completed and will be refunded within 60 days of the conclusion of the event
All shifts are a minimum 2 hours in length
All volunteers must abide by the Code of Conduct as detailed previously in order to receive any refund
Refunds can not be transferred to other participants if the volunteer does more shifts than required for the 100% refund
All volunteers will be required to sign in with a BP15 Committee Member (or designated GLB Board Member) before the start of any shift – If a committee of board member is not available, a number will be provided to check in by telephone

The refund structure is detailed below:

Working 1 shift will receive a 25% discount
Working 2 shifts will receive a 50% discount
Working 3 shifts will receive a 75% discount
Working 4 shifts will receive a 100% discount

***No exceptions will be given to volunteers regarding the payment in advance of all fees for their Run Pass. The payment of the Run Pass will entitle all volunteers to a Run Bag with event shirt as well as a specified volunteer shirt to be worn during their assigned/chosen shifts. All GLB paid members who volunteer and receive a discount on their registration will have the discount subtracted from their refund.
